Contributions related to education and advancement will include original research and descriptions of effective programs and practice within SEA American communities. Contributions to the Creative and Literary Work section are encouraged from Southeast American students in K-12 or college, or other interested community members, which focus on issues of identity or the SEA American experience. Reviews of academic books on SEA Americans, as well as brief reviews of children’s literature related to SEA Americans, will also be published. While a major focus on the journal will be on SEA American refugee groups—Cambodian, Hmong, Laotian, Vietnamese, and others—research related to any SEA American group is welcome and will be considered.
