SCHOLARSHIP
Bilingual Authorization Scholarships 
Eligibility
| • |
Individuals of Asian background with bilingual skills in Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino (Tagalog), or Hmong; individuals of non-Asian backgrounds who are fluent in any of Asian languages and passed CSET LOTE II (Hmong or Tagalog) or III (Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamse). |

College Seniors or Recent College Graduates who will apply for multiple subject or single subject bilingual authorization program in math, science, English at CSUN or at some other CSUs. |

Students who meet the admission criteria of the CSUN or other CSU credential program, and who are recently admitted to the credential program. |

Students who want to teach at a California public school in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Fullerton, Glendale, Burbank, Cupertino, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose, etc., after they obtain a bilingual teaching credential. |

Scholarships for tuition, textbooks (on loan), and other expenses will be provided, as long as students maintain 3.0 GPA during the credential coursework. For pre-credential students, it is $7,000 and @ $3,000 for post-credential students. |

Students will be required to attend some additional enrichment workshops in instructional technology and multicultural education. |
